Friday 27th Good flight Newcastle to Heathrow then pick up over night flight to Delhi.

Saturday 28th Transfer to hotel bit of a white knuckle ride no traffic laws just a free for all !! was glad to get to hotel but not for its quality and not sure if there is such a thing as a minus star rating but did have a good meal and people are very friendly

Sunday 29th 04.30 start, to get the train to Agra and visit the Taj Mahal one of the most fantastic building / monuments you could ever imagine.

In the afternoon meet the guides and set up the bikes and the equipment ready to go early in the morning.

Monday 30th Up early breakfast a bit dodgy but ok. Ride from Taj to Sikri via Fatephur about 50 Kms today slowly building up to the long distance days.

Today the best way to explain the riding conditions are :- if you imagine the M25 in rush hour full of bikes rickshaws tuttuts cars buses lorries and horses /donkeys prams pot holes in the roads and everyman for himself  and stop to offer the children a sweet or a treat and within seconds we were mobbed by about 100 kids wanting more! that was not the best idea we had today, well that was a mild description of the conditions, but we have survived and eaten quite well and now in bed ready for another early start.Tuesday is a slightly longer ride than today.
